[release]
The glen remembers
Annwn is still a very early pre-alpha: persistence is real, wounds are real, and the first few minutes now have more to say.
What's new
- A path into the valley. The people in the glen can now lead a new arrival through gathering, sheltering a fire from the rain, cooking, hunting, herbs and medicine, before the road turns towards Annwn itself.
- Work leaves a mark. Practising the things that keep you alive is visible now, so the game can show what your hands have actually learned.
- Fights ask for choices. Melee and ranged attacks make timing, distance and the body you aim at matter more clearly.
- A truer status line. The HUD is easier to read, and a character who moves on from the ground is no longer left there in name alone.
This is a small release, but it is an important one: the valley should teach itself without pretending it is safer, simpler, or more finished than it is.
